Medical Tourism:
Can it be Sustainable?

A joint Research Project between WSC and FCU.

A short survey has been designed to gather information from individuals who have traveled abroad for medical tourism.  Phase one of the study is complete and we have a manuscript under review.

The paper has been presented at the Northeastern Recreation Research Symposium in Bolton Landing, NY, USA, the ISSRM 2009 - 15th International Symposium on Society and Resource Management in Vienna, Austria and NESTVAL 2009 in Salem, MA, USA.
