The Rams (14-9, 8-4) jumped
out to a 14 point lead at the half as they connected on 52.2% (12 of 23) of
their shots in the first half, while the Owls (11-11, 6-5) shot only 32% from the
floor.
The Owls climbed back into
the game early in the second half as they picked up their full court defensive
pressure, but the Rams hot shooting continued as they shot 50% in the second
half and were able to maintain their lead down the stretch.
The Rams were led
offensively by seniors Jared Clark and Chris Feeney.
Tonight’s game finished off
the regular season for the Rams as they wait until Saturday to find out who and
where they will play in the MASCAC Tournament, while Westfield closes out the
regular season on Saturday as they host MCLA.
