Congratulations on your acceptance to Westfield State College. This is a busy and critically important time in the lives of prospective college students like you. Over the next few months, you and your parents will make an enrollment commitment to the college or university that seems to meet your needs and suit your interests best, both in and out of the classroom. We want to make every effort to supply you with as much helpful information as we can about Westfield State College so you can make a sound decision about your enrollment status with us. After all, selecting the right college is one of the most important decisions you will make.
For those of you who haven't yet visited our campus, here's a brief introduction to the college and surrounding community: Western Massachusetts is know for its scenic environment and its superior colleges, and Westfield State College is an important part of that reputation. The beauty of the Berkshire Hills starts here, and our 272-acre campus serving 4,200 undergraduates is a natural part of the impressive local landscape. The college's 24 major program in liberal arts and sciences and in top professional fields are competitive and comprehensive, and WSC graduates are well prepared to find rewarding and lasting careers in their disciplines.

Here are important dates to remember as you near the end of your college search:
March 1st - Priority filing deadline for accepted students to submit the FAFSA to the federal processing center. For more information on financial aid processing, please click here.
April 15th - Accepted students who meet the March 1 priority-filing deadline for filing the FASFA will receive notification of their financial aid awards beginning on this date.
May 1st - Candidate's Reply Date. All Accepted students intending to enroll at Westfield State College must pay their admission deposit by this date to secure a space in the entering class of new students.
June 1st - All students enrolling as on-campus residents must submit their housing contracts to the Office of Residential Life by this date in order to maintain on-campus residency.
June 20 & 21, 22 & 23, 25 & 26, 27 & 28, and August 15 & 16 - New Student & Parent Orientation. All new first-time freshman enrolling at Westfield State College will have the opportunity to sign-up for one of five two-day orientation sessions.
August 1st - Deadline for submitting final high school or college transcripts, including graduation information, where applicable.
