Hotels tend to fill up early for Commencement. You are strongly advised to make reservations as early as possible. Unfortunately we will not be able to offer on-campus accommodations for Commencement.

TICKETS
No tickets are needed for Commencement. Seating is available on a first come, first seated basis.
Keepsake Commencement Invitations are currently available in the WSC Bookstore.

CAMPUS MAP and DIRECTIONS
Please click here for our campus map.  General Parking will be available in the Commuter Lot and South Lot.  Shuttle Services to and from the tent will start at 8:00 a.m. and continue until 3 p.m.

Family Letter for Commencement

GUESTS WITH DISABILITIES
Families with Disability Plates, Placards or Disability Veteran Plates may park in the Visitor Lot at the north end of the Ely Hall Campus Center (Building 5 on map). Please plan to arrive early since traffic along Western Avenue becomes quite congested that morning.  A singner will be available for the Deaf in a special section of the tent.

PHOTOGRAPHY
Chappell Graduation Inc will be the photographer for the Westfield State Commencement ceremony. They will contact students after commencement with information on purchasing photos via their WSC email.   They can be contacted by e-mail at service@chappell.com or by phone at 1-800-424-3686.

TELEVISION VIEWING AND WEBCASTS
The Commencement is broadcasted on Wesfield's Cable Access 15.  You may view the program in the Ely Campus Center, the Dining Commons and Dever Auditorium.

WHAT TO WEAR
Casual attire is recommended for the Commencement ceremonies and guests are advised to wear shoes appropriate for walking on grassy areas. The weather in Westfield in May is unpredictable so guests should plan for a range of temperatures and weather conditions. A jacket and umbrella will come in handy.
