SPEAKING AT WESTFIELD STATE — Christopher Hitchens, one of the most widely known international commentators, will speak at Westfield State College from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 14, in the Woodward Center. The event is part of the Westfield State College Foundation Speaker Series, which is free and open to the public. A frequent television commentator often see on CNN and a regular panelist on The McLaughlin Group on PBS, he is also a columnist for The Nation and Vanity Fair. British publications have labeled Hitchens one of the “Top 100 Public Intellectuals” on the international scene.
