Interim Vice President of Student Affairs

The Vice President of Student Affairs provides leadership and support for Student Affairs Directors and staff and promotes sound policies and practices to achieve the Division's objectives. The primary duties/responsibilities of the Vice President of Student Affairs involve:

  • Leadership and supervision of Student Affairs Directors;
  • General planning, direction, and administration of all Student Affairs operations;
  • Administration of policies and regulations established by the College Board of Trustees;
  • Promoting an environment that supports the mission of the College and fosters academic, social, and 
         personal development of students;
  • Providing guidance and consultation for individuals and groups;
  • Representing the Student Affairs Division to other College constituencies;
  • Recommending policies and procedures to enhance the College communty.
     
    Programs 

    The Division of Student Affairs, administered by the Vice President of Student Affairs, consists of several departments/offices including Athletics, Campus Center, Career Services, Community Service, Counseling Center, Health Services, International Student Advisor, Public Safety, Residential Life, and Student Conduct. Also included within the divisional organization are First Year Experience Seminar, Commuter Services, New Student and Parent Orientation, Substance Abuse Education, Parking, Veterans Affairs, Wellness Center, and other programs and services.
