Vice President of Student Affairs

The responsibilities for the Vice President of Student Affairs are the overall coordination, fiscal planning and personnel management of the offices in the Division.  Among these responsibilities are:

• Provide leadership and supervision of Student Affairs directors;
• Provide long and short range planning, direction and administration of all Student Affairs operations;
• Recommend and administer policies and regulations established by the President and the College Board of Trustees;
• Promote an environment that supports the mission of the College and fosters the academic, social and personal development of students;
• Provide guidance and consultation for individuals and groups;
• Act as a liaison to the Board of Trustees and Student Government Association; and
• Represent the Student Affairs Division within the various governance structures of the College.

The Student Affairs Division oversees the departments of Athletics, Campus Center, Career Services, Community Service, Counseling Center, Health Services, International Student Advisor, Student Conduct, Public Safety, Residential Life, and specialized services including First Year Experience, New Student and Parent Orientation, Substance Abuse Education, Commuter Services, Parking, Veteran Affairs and the Wellness Center.  The Student Government Association, although an independent entity, also falls under the auspices of the Division.If you should have any questions or request information from any of these departments, please feel to contact the individual departments directly.Sincerely,
