As faculty, you play an integral role in the career development of students.  Through advising, class discussions, and overall mentoring students are often inspired by faculty to pursue certain career paths or enter particular graduate programs.  We hope to support you in your work with students and partner in many initiatives with you!  Below are some ways that we can work together:

Refer a student:
Students will often seek career guidance from their advisors.  Should you ever like to refer students to Career Services for career-related questions, please feel free to contact us.  Our counselors work with students on a wide range of areas including graduate school advising, career exploration, locating and applying to internships and jobs, mock interviews and creating their professional resumes, cover letters and portfolios.  To make a referral, call our office at (413) 572-5206 or email us at careers@wsc.ma.edu.  Our staff would be happy to help you.  For more information on services offered for services, click here (create link to Services for Students).

Refer an employer:
Do you have an employer who is interested in on-campus recruiting, job fairs or seeking employees?  Give them our number (413-572-5206) or provide us with their contact information and we would be happy to work with them. Request a presentation:
If you are going to be away at a conference or would simply like a career counselor to come and talk to your class, give us a call at x 5206.  We can cater our presentations to meet your classroom needs.  Some topics include: Resume/Cover Letter Writing, Job Search Strategies, Career Center Services, Interviewing, and Graduate School Search.
