The mission of the Department of Information Technology at Westfield State College is to be the technology partner for all members of the College community. With a commitment to collaboration and innovation, Information Technology will strive to enhance Westfield State College's teaching, learning, and service endeavors, closely aligning its activities and service with the College's mission and strategic directions. Ensuring that Westfield State College is successful in a highly competitive and technology intensive environment, Information Technology will seek to deliver its services in an efficient manner, responding to the constantly changing needs of its user community. In support of both teaching and administration, Information Technology will be a complete service provider to the Westfield State College community, dedicated to advancing the stature, influence, and competitiveness of the College through the effective and timely deployment of telecommunication, media, and data technologies. The Department of Information Technology will continually strive to innovate and improve the quality of technology services and will do so in a fiscally responsible manner. Furthermore, Information Technology will respect, anticipate, and respond to the technology needs and expectations of all Westfield State College constituents.
