The purpose of this Division is to communicate about the college with its advocates, the media, and the public. We are dedicated to improving the college's visibility, enhancing our alumni network, developing links with the community, and building financial support for Westfield State College. We spread the news, manage and publicize special events, and create marketing materials, portraying the goals and values central to the college's mission.

We listen to you, and seek to enhance relationships with all of the college's constituents: alumni, friends, prospective students, campus neighbors, corporations, foundations, legislators, the news media, and regional partners.

While emphasizing the achievements and aspirations of the college, we strive to convey information accurately, ethically, and responsibly. We also help keep our own campus community informed, and offer guidance for their marketing efforts.
