Overview:

The late 20th century marked the transition from the industrial revolution to the information revolution. The Communication major offers students the historical and theoretical background to analyze and understand the context and consequences of these revolutionary changes, and the professional skills to excel in the dynamic new environment of the 21st century.

The Communication department is unique among regional colleges in offering this balance of theory and practice, which runs through every aspect of the department.
